Meet Mandy

Getting fit and healthy doesn't have to be difficult, but it often times is. Why? 

​

With so much conflicting and contradictory information out there it can be very frustrating and confusing to know what to do. We are bombarded with diet culture and misinformation not to mention the incorrect and often times, dangerous, advice from unqualified people on various social media platforms. I, like many others, have experienced this first hand. After years of struggling with yo-yo dieting, migraines, fad diet after fad diet, weight gain, low energy and low self-esteem I decided enough was enough. I started slowly, doing online videos because I was not comfortable with stepping foot into a gym. After about 8 months, I began to notice, day after day, choice after choice, I was feeling better, looking better and I knew I wanted more. I rediscovered my passion for health and fitness and decided to go back to school to become a personal trainer and nutritionist. I wanted to know what good nutrition ACTUALLY was vs. what diet culture had taught me. I wanted to feel confident in a weight room and understand proper form. I also wanted to know how to create specific strength training programs based on someone’s unique goals. I knew I wanted to take that knowledge and share it with others.

For me, a healthy lifestyle is much more than just lifting weights. Its about stretching, warming up, eating healthy, hydrating and getting enough sleep. I love helping others see and experience what their bodies are capable of. I make it a goal to help you achieve a happy and well-balanced lifestyle that will minimize the risk of future health related issues.
